What will you do here?

  • Own the entire 3D pipeline (asset → runtime → performance)
  • Design rendering solutions (not just implement them)
  • Optimize performance across web, mobile, and VR
  • Write and optimize GLSL shaders
  • Set technical standards for the whole team
  • Solve problems that aren’t “in the documentation”
  • No pixel pushing — real technical decision-making instead

What shouldn't you miss / welcome experience?

Core stack

  • Three.js (production-level experience)
  • Working with scenes, materials, and lighting
  • Render pipeline, layers, raycasting

Shaders

  • Custom vertex and fragment shaders
  • Working with uniforms and textures
  • Optimization

Performance

  • Draw calls, batching
  • LOD, frustum culling
  • Profiling (CPU/GPU)

Bonus points

  • Unity (practical experience, not just theory)
  • GLTF pipeline (optimization, loading)
  • Needle Engine is a plus
