Lifeliqe is among the exhibitors, so we're excited to meet you at our booth #34. Also, we'd love to invite you to one of the sessions hosted by the partners at the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED). These sessions present innovations in the Project SANDI. Project SANDI is a key workforce development project in Nevada. Some of the sessions will focus on innovation that occurs in workforce training services, including Virtual Reality simulations for up- and re-skilling. One of this year's NAWDP topics is "innovation in virtual and hybrid Environments".
Project SANDI team members will be leading three workshops on Tuesday, May 17th. Some of them will show how the virtual reality training content developed by Lifeliqe can impact workforce development training as well as career navigation.
Speakers: Tammy Westergard (GOED, Project SANDI Coordinator) Karsten Heise (GOED Director of Strategic Programs)
"Project SANDI’s Community of Practice members include Nevada’s public librarians with workforce duty assignments, community college career counselors, One-Stop coaches, state and municipal agency partners, and community non-government organizations. Utilization of cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) content will not only provide immersive experiences, such as virtual job shadowing, but also provide a more effective way of understanding opportunities offered by Nevada’s high-growth industries and high-demand occupations within it. VR will additionally provide on-ramps to credentials and certifications for careers in those growing Nevada industries," stands in the GOED's press release about the institution's team members' involvement in the NAWSDP program.
